SCI/PBI decided to conduct this event, a family get together every year on the 26th of January, India’s Republic Day
On this day the Constitution of India has come into force with the ideological foundation for an Enlightened India on the principles of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity
Every Indian, particularly the weaker sections should take pride in it for it marks in Indian history, India’s journey from dark age dictatorship to democratic modern age.
The first most colourful PBU event was held at the Lalithakala Thoranam, Hyderabad in 2011.
The event marks the inter-generational exchange of cultural capital of the community with a display of talents in music, dance, martial arts, solo and group events. This is an all encompassing cultural festival of the community.
The paid and willing participation of women and children are its specialty.
